We do the installation for free using our custom made \/ installed lenses services. Same price for the lenses. Just takes a bit longer as the frames need to be sent in and time allowed for our team to install the lenses and tune up your frames. There is some additional shipping cost too so it ends up costing a bit more but does eliminate all the stress on your side. Additionally some customers take them to a local optometrist to get some help. I'm sorry our videos didn't help much in your situation. Some people get it quite quickly and for others they find it a bit more difficult but once you've replaced lenses once it's usually a bit easier the next time. From what I read about all the work I team did in the three attempts to rectify your fit issues I know they felt that the frames had probably warped over time. It can happen if left in a hot car or some other conditions make that happen. They felt that with the three attempts you got a safe fit on the right side on the 2nd attempt and a good fit for the left on the 3rd and that you were satisfied. However, if that wasn't the case then please feel free to return them for a refund. Another option could be the send back the lenses and the frames. Our technicians could then design and fit lenses that work in both the right and left sides regardless of frame movement. Again, I'm sorry for whatever reasons they didn't fit. While frame changes are rare they do happen occasionally and we do try to help as you experienced with our 3 attempts to correct the sitaution. Your original lenses would have most likely not been polarized. You may have been happier getting our SFx Edge, non polarized lenses if you were after something more similar to what you originally had. Polarized lenses are designed to block glare and light that go to the eyes from odd angles such a reoad glare. However, they also block lights from certain screens and technology devices as well which is probably what you are experiencing with your phone. Again, that's dependent on what sort of screen your phone or monitor has and how it transmits light. You are more than welcome to exchange the lenses for our SFxEdge range. Additioanlly, you could just return the lenses for a full refund. We do have a 6 months no question warranty. I am following up with the lens tech so see if they can still provide the hardware for free. We have been flooded down in Australia so that could be causing some delays in their trying to do this special order for you. We do try to point out that the screws for ordering are a set of generic optical screws. They are not rimless components nor specfic to a frame. I know people still don't fully understand that when ordering as you are not the first to have this problem. It's also impossible for us to source every type of hardware provided for all sunglasses. Many are made one off by a manufacturer for a particular frame they roll out. We are working hard to try and source some good after market rimless components that should work on most frames. The team provided return instructions where I feel they probably should have reiterated the fact your frames are different size and that we could either custom make you a set at no additional charge or you could return them for a refund. I think the person on care just sent return instructions when they should have also offerred the option for us to custom make you a set of lenses. Now if you've returned the lenses we will refund you. However, the package could still be in transit. if you haven't returned the lenses or would prefer to send in the frames so we can custom make and install a pair of new lenses we are more than happy to do that for you too. We did email you shortly after you order. You ordered VIP lens installation service for your frames. For these products we require them to be sent into our lab so we can make and install lenses for you. This service is different from our standard offerring where we make and send the lenses out to you. Instead, for these select products we do not have the ability to make lenses and offer a free pair (of base lenses, I can see you upgraded to a polarized pair and paid just the difference) if you send in the frames. Therefore, either you didn't understand how this products works and didn't receive our emails or there was some other communication problem as we are still waiting for you to send in your frames. I will resend the email with the instructions. If you no longer wish to get the free set of lenses let us know. We could try a couple of things for you. First, we do have a frame buy back policy in that if you return the lenses and frame we'll send you 50.00 as a way of saying sorry and refund your order in full. This allows us to examine what could have caused the issue. Additionally, we do have a relationship with a very good frame repair company. If we were to get the frames down here with the lenses we sent and ensured they were a matching model and our lens size was not correct (as manufactures do make a lot of sizes for same model), we would be happy to send them in and see if this company could repair them. We could then install the lenses for you and return them to you at our cost. All we ask is for you to send frame, hopefully original lenses, and the lenses we sent.
